Koala Demo Shop is a working Shopify storefront operated by Koala Apps. It exists for one reason: to give us a real store to point at when we show people how Koala Inspector works.

Nothing can be purchased

Checkout on this store is disabled. No order placed here is ever received, processed or fulfilled, and no payment method is ever charged. If you somehow reach a checkout screen, stop. You are not buying anything, and we are not taking your money.

The products are not real

Every product on this site is invented. The names, the descriptions, the prices, the SKUs, the stock counts and the photography are all fabricated for demonstration purposes. The product images were generated by an AI image model. None of these items exist, none of them ship, and none of them have ever been manufactured.

Why it exists

Koala Inspector is a Chrome extension used by more than 250,000 people to analyse Shopify stores: the apps a store runs, the theme it uses, its product catalogue, its traffic and its ad campaigns. Demonstrating that on somebody else's real store is unfair to them, so we built our own instead. Everything the extension reports about this store is genuine data about a genuine Shopify storefront. It just happens to be a storefront selling imaginary koala merchandise.
